I ordered sizes 1 and 2, hoping to get the right fit for our rescued Chihuahua/terrier mix, who can sometimes be aggressive with kids in the park. The size 2 fit best. But the strap on both were WAY too big, even at their shortest adjustment. Also, the snap/buckle was useless, as it separated easily with gentle pulling. My dog discovered this quickly, and simply pushed the muzzle with her paw, easily separating the buckle. After some trial and error, the solution was to cut off the buckle, shorten the strap, and thread it through the hole so that it could be tightened as needed. The cage type muzzle is good so that the dog can pant (as recommended by our vet), but this design is way off for strap length.
