Some may consider the poodle to be a “high maintenance.” Just looking at the picture, it’s easy to see why. This rare gem wouldn’t slum it by drinking out of the Russell Terrier’s bowl, IYKWIM.

But beauty is more than just fur deep and the Kalstones have proven that to me. Thanks to this informative book, I now know how to cut them, shave them, love them, and, most importantly, staple them to a purple felt skirt for those rockin’ sock hops down at the high school gymnasium.

A very nice book on the poodle. It could have been made better by being more in-depth about the clipping of the show poodle. It needs more photographs and instruction. This would be helpful for beginners. A good read and at this time it seems the best book on Poodle grooming but like I said it needs more photos and needs to be more in-depth for a beginner. I am advanced in my grooming but saw that it lacked the information for a beginner.

!! a joy to read–(and to re-read after you are practicing your skills–at all levels!) A beautiful book on every level; so intelligently and interestingly written! A must-have for every Poodle owner–the book is a fixture on all groomers’ shelves, I have been told.

A very informative, detailed and very interesting reference book with great pictures I can’t wait to finish it and put what I read into practice. As I have just finished a long distance grooming course I find that it is helping me increase my knowledge about grooming the three types of poodles.
