Hooked it up, the diverter works but no water comes out of the pet shower, no matter what you do.

I did not buy this to wash a pet, but to actually make it easier to wash the shower I have and not changing to a shower head on a rope, so I obviously did not want something there all the time, something that could be removed easily (the hose and pet shower head), and most important not take any if much of my pressure from the existing head when this is not in use.
Well I must say they hit this one on all counts, it installed in 10 minutes, came supplied with pipe tape for the threads, everything hand tightens, so no tools needed.
I plugged in the pet hose/head and turned on the shower full blast, no leaks from the shower head nor any parts of the of pet gizmo. It has a great spray lock that lets you lock the spray on or control it manually and from a dribble to full pressure depending on how hard you squeeze, the locked-on mode is full, but that works well for me since at this times I am either watering it down pre-wash, or rinsing after washing the tile.
Can’t believer for years I have been pouring wating was a bucket I would have to refill tima and time again to rinse it all off.
The only thing I noted is that the coupling does not look real strong so I doubt this would be well suited for daily use, but I did not take any stars for that since it never said it was for professionsals, or lazy wall washers

I will admit that this item was not purchased to bathe my dogs, but rather to use with my two daughters at bath time. One daughter is 3 and the other is 2, and this item has helped make washing their hair much more enjoyable. This product eliminates the need to rinse their hair with a plastic “hair rinsing pail” purchased at a major super center. Neither of my daughters enjoyed having their hair washed because using the plastic pail always led to soap in their eyes and a few tears. Now, however, the girls do not resist the need to rinse their hair. It did take a few time for them to get used to how my wife and I rinse their hair now, but now that they know to look up and watch the ceiling as we rinse their hair the tears have disappeared. We are very pleased with this product and speak very highly about it.

This works great! It is much easier to wash my dog in the shower now, than in the utility tub or jacuzzi tub as before. It is less stress on my back and the dog likes the soft water stream instead of having buckets of water poored on him or moved under the tap. It has a water shut off at the handle and makes it easy to spray it when and where you need it. The hose length was plenty long to work with. The connection to the shower is PLASTIC however. So good for the bath every 3-4 weeks but probably not going to hold up if you need to hook it up and remove it weekly.

This is a great product because it saves your back. I don’t have to reptitively bend over to pour the water on my dogs. This is much more convenient and it assembles easily and is easy to press the button for on/off switch which is important since my hands are not that great with arthritis.
