Our kids have 2 corgis that love the water, got them this ladder last summer for vacation. They can get in the boat with ease. worth every penny we paid. Now they have their own way in the boat and are not constantly at the ladder wanting in. Steps are close together but its perfect for them.

We bought this product to use on our pontoon boat so that our 70-lb. labradoodle could get back on the boat after swimming. It works okay when there is someone at the foot of the ladder to guide her feet so that she doesn’t slip off the side, but I tried to send her down it alone, and her foot slipped between the ladder and the boat so that she was hanging by one back leg. I recommend the product when there are two people to help guide the dog, but be aware that, for a large dog at least, there are some safety questions, since the ladder is quite narrow.
