This has proved not very useful. I recommend a good pair of electric trimmers, a slicker brush, and the double combed underbrush rake.

I bought the Evolution comb for my Tibetan Terrier, and really liked it for
getting through mats and gnarly pre-mats. The drawback is that the tines
are now bent at the insertion site. I can still use it, but I’m dismayed
at the quality.

I have both this comb and the undercoat rake. I really like both a lot. I tried a Furminator and the undercoat rake and found no difference in the performance–just in the price! I highly recommend the combination of this comb with the undercoat rake. The comb is easier to use around the ears and small areas. I have two long coated AussieBos–(Australian Shepard/ Border Collie mix:-)and these two grooming tools keep them looking great:-)
