I just received the clippers but havent tried them as of yet. Overall quality seams to be good and I like the idea of them being cordless. I purchased this brand because of all the reviews I have read, these are one of the best for home use and a good value for the money, I hope the dogs will feel the same:-)

I’ve had issues with this clipper since I bought it. This is the same one that horse supply catalogs offer.
The battery only lasts one muzzle and a maximum of four fetlocks before it dies. You can’t run it off of the power cord, you have to recharge it a minimum of 24 hrs before each use which is a MASSIVE pain, especially right before a show. Clippers are supposed to be convenient, not something I need to plan for!
It never held charge for very long but now it only lasts one minute before dying. I’ve kept it immaculately clean with oiling, cleaning, etc. between uses.
Wahl’s white case clippers have traditionally been refurbishments – that should tell you something about how reliable they are – they’ve made an entire product line out of bad products!
Save your money and don’t buy this thing.

The first time I used this clipper, I was very impressed that it runs quietly and really cuts easily through thick hair of my dog…but after the first time I used it…I wasn’t able to use it again! After charging it for many hours…it ran for only for 3 minutes…then on my 3rd use, I wasn’t even able to use it for a minute!! Yes, this clipper has a very poor battery life. Don’t waste your money on this. Now I can’t even use it and it turns off in 5 seconds..Such a waste…

Maybe my expectations where too high but this product is not night and day better than any old clipper.
It does perform a bit better, less clogging with fur, doesn’t get as hot as fast but in the end will overheat and doesn’t cut fur a whole lot better than a standard clipper.
Maybe with a different # blade results would be superior.
In a nutshell, decent but I was not blown away.

I was very lucky – after appealing my case to the manufacturer, this was sent directly to me from Wahl, after I was given the bait & switch by the original Amazon “re-seller” in New York. If ever the phrase Buyer Beware was in force, it was this case. Great support from Wahl overcame the re-seller’s bad faith. After several tedious phone calls to the NYC re-seller’s store, I was ultimately offered “a different” product by this re-seller, still switching me away from my intended purchase! Initially they wouldn’t admit responsibility or offer a pre-paid label to return the misrepresented product. BUYER BEWARE.
